Arc Raiders is Embark Studios' third-person extraction shooter, released 30 October 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox. You drop onto a ruined Earth from the underground city of Speranza, loot, fight the ARC machines that patrol the surface — and the other raiders who want your bag — then extract before the timer runs out. It became one of the biggest games on Steam within weeks of launch, mostly because it's an extraction shooter that is friendly: proximity chat, a light-hearted community, and a loot loop that doesn't punish you for having a life.
