Doom: The Dark Ages (May 2025) is the prequel to Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal: the Slayer in a dark-fantasy war, with a shield saw for parries, a heavier "stand and fight" rhythm than Eternal's air-dashing, plus set-piece mech and dragon levels. It's on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
